AppSumo - yay or nay for free apps?

Hey, I've been seeing a lot of you have great success with AppSumo in getting your first few hundred users. We're a marketplace, so our fee structure is a percentage of what you sell. Does it make sense to post on AppSumo or no? Thanks in advance.
