https://www.producthunt.com/posts/ratemynft/maker-invite?code=QO3EjM RateMyNFT: We have built the world’s first trust platform for NFT projects. Why: Aren’t you sick and tired of getting scammed from NFT projects? Getting scammed sucks and it is a painful experience. Anyone can fake an NFT project. As more and more people get into NFTs, fake NFT projects will continue to increase, and will be very difficult for the average user to validate good projects. To validate fake from authentic NFTs, you kinda need some technical knowledge or background. What are we building: We are building a trust platform that helps you validate fake from real NFT projects. As part of the solution, we built RateMyNFT, the world’s first online platform that primarily allows users to contribute reviews, ratings, upvotes, and discover NFT collections. The platform leverages a crowdsourcing model to acquire ratings. This enables our community to make informed decisions about the validity of specific NFT collections and make comparative assessments of quality, standard, and performance. RateMyNFT is ultimately aimed at solving the problem of NFT scams by giving people the tools to identify fraudulent collections and verify legitimate NFTs. We are building for NFT project owners, Hodlers, and the general community. Project Owners can list their NFT projects. They have added useful project details like --Websites --Socials --Contract address --Creator --Project description --Number of items in their collections. This helps the general community get a better understanding of the collection listed. Hodlers: Minted NFT owners can rate, review and upvote NFT collections. The general public can make informed decisions before investing in an NFT project by searching for projects, looking at their ratings, reviews and upvotes. Interesting insights: Whenever you want to visit a new restaurant, the first step is probably visiting Yelp. Or, you usually check the reviews on Amazon products first before making a purchasing decision. People's perspectives about a product or service are a big value for discovery. We are using such use cases for NFT projects. In fact, people trust strangers when making a purchase online. A recent study showed that 84% of people trust online reviews as much as their friends or families. To minimize fake reviews, NFT hodlers should connect their NFT wallet to leave a review. Connecting a wallet allows RateMyNFT to verify ownership of the project/collection being reviewed. This ensures that each review is legitimate. Call to Action: We are releasing our first beta to NFT project owners and hodlers. You can list your NFT projects if you have one on our platform and share it with your community so they can add reviews and ratings. To access beta, join our NFT Discord server [https://discord.gg/akfJGR8Wqr]. Join now and help us build a better trust ecosystem for web 3.0.
