Am I The Only One Who Thinks Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Multiplayer Only) Is Ridiculous?

I have never regretted buying a video from Playstation Network in my life, until I bought Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) without doing my usual due diligence on it. Considering how fantastic 2019's Modern Warfare (MW) is, I threw caution to the wind and snapped up it's successor immediately it became available to buy. I paid full premium. Worst decision I ever made in my life. The thing is: usually I would watch gameplay videos on YouTube and sometimes would wait for test/free access weekend to play Call Of Duty games. But MW had been so good, there was no way my brain could even suspect it's sequel would destroy its legacy. MW is so realistic. It makes you feel like you are directly in the trenches, fighting and killing real people. No matter the war you could fantasize about (Iraq, Afghanistan or even Ukraine) you could live your fantasies legitimately through MW. That game is hardcore. It's photo realistic and feels so real. Playing that game pumps raw fire through your veins. I have experienced scenarios playing multiplayer that literally paralyzed me with fear. Then came the baby toy that is MW2 and I wish I could return. Currently I have deleted/uninstalled it. And I am back to playing MW. I tried. God knows I tried. But that game is so colorfully childish, it's nauseating. Feels like something Disney made. I don't know why more people aren't making these comparison and letting Activision and co have it hot hot 🔥 But from my experience, I think most people have abandoned MW2 and gone back to playing MW like me. I believe this because, before I deleted MW2, finding a game to play became a hassle. Sometimes I had to wait as much as 5 minutes to find a match, despite the fact that it's just been released. But since I moved back to MW, I find matches in a heartbeat. So many players available, waiting to die. That's a testament to the continued success of the old over the new. Hopefully, Activision will accept this truth and do better next time around. Because as things are now, I would have preferred if they just released new maps for MW rather than releasing MW2 as a sequel. That games multiplayer is a major let down.
