How important is the ability to remove/replace background to you when choosing a video tool ? Do you care about the quality of it at all ? I personally don’t use it as much anymore, but when I do I always use a purpose built tool instead of a native video conferencing tool feature. How about you ?

It's quite important when I generate a great AI image but not satisfied with background.

Well I'm not one who uses these on a daily basis, but from use experience, I would say purpose built tool, I noticed most of the native ones are not as accurate and seem to glitch or have image clipping/frame tearing.
@reconcatlord Totally agree. It can actually make you appear worse and your virtual background can become very distracting.
AI background removal tools can be incredibly useful for quickly and efficiently removing backgrounds from images or videos. They often provide convenience and ease, especially for non-professionals or those without advanced editing skills. However, the accuracy and quality of these tools can vary, and they might not always produce perfect results, particularly with complex backgrounds. For simpler tasks or basic editing needs, they can be quite effective, but for professional or intricate work, manual editing might still be preferred for better precision. Ultimately, their usefulness depends on the specific use case and desired outcome.
For me, honestly it depends on the need and the situation.
Background removal tools can be a game-changer for video content creators. The ability to remove or replace backgrounds is definitely important to me when choosing a video tool. Quality matters a lot, as a poor background removal can make the entire video look unprofessional.
I totally get what you mean about using purpose-built tools instead of native features in video conferencing tools. They often don't offer the same level of precision and quality.
I'd love to hear more about your experiences with different background removal tools and which ones you find most effective. It's always great to learn from others in the community about the tools that work best for them.
Looking forward to exchanging more thoughts on this!
@stylar_max Absolutely, quality is key. I personally use VCam.ai. I used to work for XSplit who made it. They did a lot of work with Intel to bring the best background removal tool to the market. It's exceptional good.
Depends on the needs !!
I use remove.bg for pictures pretty much every day. I don't create a lot of videos but it would be crucial too
