AI Art: Is It Truly Original or Just Imitation?

Can AI be truly creative, or is it just copying what it’s learned? I came across some really cool concepts like GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), where one AI creates art and another checks it, pushing the limits of creativity.
What do you think? Is AI art actually original, or just a clever remix of old styles?

I think it's a imitation of human trying to combine existing styles and elements trained from existing data. Thanks so much Udaya for your vote on my launch today!

@derek_liu_dev I agree. But I also think it does use a blend of its own creativity and existing styles and elements trained from data.
Good products absolutely deserve to be upvoted. Congratulations again on your launch!!

Thanks again, Udaya! @udaya_sri You bring up a great point about "creativity". I used to believe humans were naturally more creative than AI, but when I reconsidered what creativity really means, I realized it might just be a combination of elements that make sense to us. AI can create based on patterns (which makes sense to us) learned from human data. While humans may still have an edge being the first to innovate, I think it's only a matter of time before AI to learn that later on. Just my two cents :)
@derek_liu_dev Totally agree. This is a really interesting topic to discuss.
