Affiliate program via Lemon Squeezy? Has anyone tried for a startup?

For bizplanner.ai I use Lemon Squeezy as a payment provider. Also, they have an affiliate program.

Has anyone tried it?

Is it worth it when you are a small startup?

Do you need to promote it?

What should a minimum commission? Let' say if you sell products for $9.99 only

I'd recommend 20-30% for commision.

Some SaaS are going even higher than that.

I think you will need to do almost all of the promotion yourself.

I had one affiliate come through discovery everyone else comes through us.
