Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m working on an app that lets you swipe through museum collections, similar to Tinder. The goal is to make exploring museums more fun and engaging and quickly decide if the musuem matchs your intersests.
You can:
- Search for museums by location or category.
- Decide if a museum is worth visiting based on your personal taste.
- Swipe through all kinds of collecteions, like famous art etc.
What do you think? Would you use an app like this? I’d love your feedback and suggestions!
Best,
Liam

I like this idea, but I might use it when deciding on dinner.

IMO it could also work good with any place for a date – so couples could choose where to spend the date (in which museum, gallery or so). Or for families when they want to spend time with their kids during weekends on holidays. :)
I love the idea! Swiping through museum collections sounds like a fun and engaging way to explore art
Swiping left on Van Gogh feels weird but I'm here for it.
I'd use this. Its like gamifying culture and I think that appeals to younger audiences. You might consider a recommend me a museum feature based on swiping patterns.
This could work really well for discovering new places. Would it also let users book tickets or share their top picks with friends?
Launching soon!
I like this idea Liam, to quickly be able to thumb through a museum's exhibits in a mobile gallery could help plan my visit. This is bit much to ask, but prolly informational guide, because when I go to the botanical sometimes I always pull out my phone to search more information on a display.
The idea is cool but would swiping through art feel too casual for museum enthusiasts? Maybe include more context or info with each piece.
This could make museum hooping so much easier for travelers like me.
