It offers exciting new opportunities, but also carries the potential for unintended consequences. It's like a knife that can be used to cut bread or to cause harm. The future depends on society, on us. Yeah, it would be paid. It gives us the freedom of doing more and better, but it also can take our freedoms too.

ChatGPT is more of a testing ground for GPT-4.
Have a feeling that it'll become paid soon, and then will the release of GPT-4 prices will lower or GPT-4 is charged at a premium.
Since it's a testing tool, it also feels like there won't be an API for it, since OpenAI wants to collect user feedback on their website.
The API will be reserved for GPT-4.

ChatGPT is a mind-opening tool. Helping in the development of ideas - how you can vision your-future-self, completing sentences when you lack inspiration, finding ideas for recipes for people with intolerances who are tired of eating the same thing over and over again ... It's a never-ending wheel of fortune without a bottom and a clear answer to questions. I know what I am saying, I checked and the above are the result of my own life experiences.

It's future is kind of helpful but as the hype has been generated, I think it will not be the replacement to Google. Google is far more intelligent and incorporating new things every day.
@aarav_pittman Yeah, it won't replace google, it just is a tool to get quick insights and for quick searches, but google clearly serves the need of an search engine
