I am curious to hear what's your framework of choice and why! We stick with Django as our backend developer is skilled in and it's the fastest way for us to get the product out there and validate it. And for anyone thinking what's the right framework for their next project, check out this discussion where I asked my two technical cofounders to explain to me why we choose Django and what others should choose. TLDR; don't overthink it. Go with what you already know, because the most important thing is to validate if your product has value for the target customer. If you are looking to hire someone, it's good to go with Rails or Django as it provides building blocks so you don't reinvent the wheel.

I haven't tried Rails. Django, laravel and other MVC/MCV based frameworks doesn't work for me. On python I use flask, on Javascript Nodejs. They offer me complete control and comes with minimal boilerplates and restrictions.
