Your help and input on doing well on product release day.

Hey guys! Hoping to release a new product on ProductHunt soon, and just wanted your input on how to do well. I am considering getting a pro account, in order to have an upcoming product for a while to raise awareness about it before the release day. Is it worth it? Any other advice/tips you have on how to have a successful launch? Thanks!
