Should I launch my MacOS app for free at first ?

I'm working on a MacOS app that gives you insights on how to manage better your battery health. I.e. : it triggers notifications on when to plug/unplug alimentation cable.

I think it makes more sense to launch the App at free of cost initially. Making it paid might reduce it's initial reach significantly.
