Has any of your product launched before you intended to (by someone else)?

To all PH enthusiasts,
I had planned the launch of https://www.producthunt.com/posts/presentify today but another hunter (with better connections and followers than me) hunted the product. However, it's not the way I thought I would launch. So, how can I edit the hunt now? Is it possible? What's the best next step here?

In case if someone needs to know, I contacted PH support and they were pretty fast to respond. They made me the `maker` and I was able to edit and everything. However, I am still curious to know how `makers` guarantee that their product doesn't launch before they intend to.
