Nothing wrong in looking at past PH launches for some inspiration. I studied about 50-70 successful launches and their gallery images and observed 10 best practices that followed.
I am using them to create images for my product launch, hope you find them useful for yours too.

🟠Show, don't tell.
🟠Summarise your product’s value in the first image/video thumbnail
🟠Explain 50% of the product in the first three images
🟠Use real product images everywhere
🟠One image should explain only one feature
🟠Each feature/image should have one heading, little to no description, and a lot of visuals
🟠A feature’s heading should be less than 10 words
🟠If a feature's heading needs more than 10 words, break it down further
🟠An image should have visuals to convey most of the message
🟠Maintain consistency in background, colors, and fonts
