I definitely think it does. Although it also depends on what stage you're at, we first built a very basic MVP of what our product achieves to get some initial feedback, this was so that we could have some level of market validation, and then build out the full product being user-focused!

Firstly thanks Adam, great initiative! Would you suggest posting blogs/articles etc. on your own website mainly to increase SEO or are their other platforms for posting can could generate a larger amount of SEO or traffic. i.e. Quora/Reddit? Etc.

Offering some sort of incentive to your initial users, i.e. becoming a brand ambassador when we launch gives you early access to 'XXXX'. We found that worked for a short space of time. Also getting BETA testers within your industry, get people using as early as possible so they see the value in what you're building, they will naturally talk to their friends about it. Very interesting Hugo… I usually have the same problem and then when looking for footage to use I always find it difficult to patch things together… do you have any websites you use for inspiration? I tend to look at what other creators have done and use that as ideas for a baseline idea

Definitely seeing good responses from potential clients or users! Having people respond with 'you've just saved me time searching for content' or 'you just saved me money', is what drives me to improve and iterate the product we've built!

I think having these 5 things make me super productive 1. Have a mindmapping tool open for when ideas randomly pop into my head 2. Using trello to manage everything 3. Using Signal to talk to everyone i need to 4. Taking 5 mins out every hour to think about something random 5. Listen to music to zone in for repetitive/complicated tasks

Does anyone else find that music provides the same level of escapism if you don't have a separate office area in your home? I find putting my headphones on allows me to concentrate and block out the home noise...

This is a really good question and something I feel most founders may struggle with especially if you're building a tech company! One thing we do is regular catchups weekly, which doesn't involve much work talk but more getting to know the team and their interests. The other is helping them with personal or their own side projects... so giving advice and guidance always goes a long way and...
