I'm 2 years into app development. I feel like I just barely got the hang of UIKit and now I'm trying to learn SwiftUI. My biggest challenge is getting discouraged by how much I don't know, so I learned that the best thing I can do for myself is trust that if I put in the effort my brain is making connections and I will slowly but surely pick it up!

Find a good pace, and don't stop!

It's always starting that is the hardest part, and it's almost always a challenge! To make it easier, I try to have some notes or reference to remind myself what is currently important. Then, I just like to focus on one simple thing I can do to get the ball rolling.

In my former life as PM, I would treat PRDs as living documents that evolved through continued conversations with stakeholders/devs/designers. I can relate to what you've already mentioned. I'm two years into picking up app development and building my own app. The main obstacle is consistency and having an internal compass of your output. It has helped me to just focus on taking the next step and doing my best to block out the noise.

Yes! So much to do. I've been working on a journaling app and am planning on rebuilding the text editor as well as implementing mood tracking, but not before launching on PH next week!

I'm using Unbounce because I already had an account, but I regret it. Seems like Carrd and Webflow are popular among the Indie Hacker community. Will definitely be switching over.
