I’ve been reading through this discussion and for me, yet to launch my first product it’s mixed feelings. I hope to launch soon (end July) What would be the best things I can do to “prepare” as people have been mentioning above. I of course would like to get the most visibility possible. My product is a productivity system to help people become more productive, organised and achieve goals...

This is such a good tool. I do a lot of sites for customers on WordPress and so I use Yoast a lot. I’m just starting to move to Webflow so this is perfect! Thanks! Also I am glad to hear you are feeling better and that you have passed the cancer, congratulations!

This is awesome. I have developed a ton of Wordpress templates for customer sites and have my own starter template that I developed to get me going faster. For a few customers I have had to build custom plugins to achieve certain functionality and it ways always a pain... this will help 10x fold. Great idea! Looking fwd to testing it out.

Notion is way more mature and feature rich than Loop... I tried Loop a few months ago and it's very basic (like OneNote but with a fancier UI). Notion has relational databases and a ton of other features where you can actually "almost" build applications on there. Which is why I built Focused using Notion. I think Loop will get there though... might just take a while.

People are super friendly and nice which is awesome compared to other platforms. In regards to how to launch effectively, I would like to know that myself 🤣. I am about to launch soon too. My family and the ability to create a product that hopefully will help others achieve their life goals, I am always super grateful when I can help people, it is so motivating and fulfilling. On a side note, I do a gratitude journal everyday and it really helps see the glass half full and not half empty, even when things are not going well. Great question!

I agee with what most people have said here, the launch. The hard part of putting in tons of effort and then not knowing if you can attract the right audience to get people to use it.

I would go back to just after WW2. I feel like it was a much simpler time, lots of opportunities and way less regulations and rules to get started with in business. Plus I love the style of the 50s, especially the cars.
