SO many cool updates, sooo stoked for better autolayout - especially with negative values and more granular alignments!
I feel like it's my annual "Figma-OS upgrade" to catch up on the updates 😂

Process on PH: I quickly go through the day's top list and click on products that might interest me. If I find something interesting, I usually look at the carousel, website, comments and similar products first. If I'm invested, I'll look at the reviews & do more research!
What I look for:
- Feedback - from people I know is best, but I also like to see reviews online in general (Reddit,...

My essentials are quite similar to you, my add on would be that they have to be very portable and fast! So either an iOS app that's actually an app and not a wrapper or webview, and blazing fast performance since I'm likely short on time whenever I use these apps 😊
As an example, Todoist and Trello both have options that add multiple tasks for me if I paste in multi-line text.
I'm still...

Here's what has helped me:
- Reading non-fiction/self help books. Currently reading Setting Boundaries by Dr. Rebecca Ray, have loved The Four Agreements and Atomic Habits.
- Defining what self-care looks like, and prioritising making time for it regularly. For me it's reading a book, exercising, or writing, and having time to decompress after work.
- Reaching out to friends, family, and...

- Compare to your previous progress, and focus on consistency.
- If something triggers you, it's a great indication that either you want a bit of that in your life, or you hate how you do that in your life.

How do you manage your personal finances?
How do you track your expenses? Do you have a budget? What about investments and goals?
Here's my current system:
- GSheet to set and adjust a budget, do asset allocation for investments, and keep track of current income. I check this every few weeks, usually in time to reconcile my credit card bills to make sure they're paid in full each month.
- A separate GSheet to track net worth, which I...

I love the social aspect of working from the office, but commuting + distractions are so tricky for me.
We have a hybrid team across timezones and recommended WFO days, but are flexible which is nice!
I've found connecting with team members that are remote by DMing them with less-work related stuff has been really helpful to connect while remote, which means that when I am in the office...

Intentionally breaking the rule here hah but Notion & Todoist, hands down.
- Notion 2.0 can be laggy, but it's SO powerful. I can collaborate, easily create a link to share that's responsive and beautiful, connect anything that I want (PDF? Checklist? Database? A bunch of links? Notes in general?). There's templates that helped me get started quickly, and my portfolio website literally...

I've found that there are a couple of parts to it - the rituals & the tools.
Rituals:
- Making sure everyone is aligned on when is no-meeting time and when to connect. Some people might like to call to talk through things, or just hang together in the coworking space.
- Creating the space for async connections similar to what @jenny_sahng said - having slack channels for #misc...
