It's painful, but in my experience the best thing to do is give the refund. It disarms an unhappy customer and leaves the door open for them to return as a customer in the future. Also agree with the other comments here that unhappy customers can risk bad reviews and vocal, negative publicity.

Nice list! I haven't come across Fliki before. I've enjoyed using Capsule - it's got helpful tools for automatically cutting out white noise and also editing by transcript.

Personally reaching out to develop a rapport with customers makes a big difference. It helps customers feel comfortable reaching out when they have issues instead of bailing on your product.

Creating high value, quality content. It's easy to put out a lot of "top 5" lists, but helpful content that's informational can be more time consuming to create.

Definitely, but they shouldn't be a blocker to get started on a product. I think a logo can evolve with a product over time as the identity of the product evolves.

A mindset shift that helps me stay productive lately is saying no to more things so I can focus on 1-2 things and do them well, with all my attention.

Simplicity is more important starting out. Customization is helpful once you have users familiar with your product and want to get more out of it.
