Simple interface, easy chat tool that navigates you quickly through channels & threads. DM messages, screen sharing, sharing files, audio & video options for quick meeting 1 on 1, but also for large amount of people. Something that works without problems, without notifications that interrupt your work and productivity.

I find that video meetings are more efficient, most of the time. We keep them as short as possible with a focus on the most important points. Especially weekly meetings. For major strategic and team decisions, office meetings are important and more convenient, due to energy between people in live, but they can be also done in remote without a problem.

I've been working from home for a year and a half, and I have to admit that I'm used to it now. However, I still miss live conversations plus working from home made me quite passive to go out. As someone has written bellow lower back pain from sitting all day long is annoying and something that makes me nervous, so I tend to exercise from time to time.

My company is fully remote, so we use Pumble to communicate during the work. But, our HR is so great and thoughtful. They practice to organize once per month team bonding, mostly in some restaurant and we have two or three times per year theme parties or large team building so we can bond more with new colleagues and have fun within the team. I also love a once a week virtual coffee hour that's...

If overwork is not a consequence of the tasks that your boss constantly adds to you, or toxic work culture at your company, then the solution is to make a daily to-do list, prioritize tasks and stick to that. Taking short breaks, exercise and enough sleep should also help with overwork. On other hand, if overtime is a sign of flawed workplace culture, then you should talk to the boss and HR to...

2. Nicecream.fm Uk
3. Naxi radio from Serbia (pick 80s station)
4. 885.fm from California

I try not to use too many and stick to four on a regular basis, if I want to be more productive and focused on work. Clockify for time-tracking,
Pumble for communication with team, Google drive for documentation and
Trello or Jira for planning. Keep it simple. That's my outcome goal.

It is a challenge, especially if we share space with someone, have children, etc. But in any case, the most important things are organization, time management & discipline. If you are good at all three, then you will be great at work and also have more quality time with your family and friends.

I would not say essential, but it's always good to have text reviews converted into not just video, also in audio. Because you would targeting wide range of potential customers. Some people prefer to audio format, some video and old school like me text, so if you have production and budget to cover all three, that's great!

I would definitely say both. It's not about the format but who is behind the review. I found that for SaaS market, reviews from customers and credible media, tech persons are well received within community regardless of format.
Do you think video reviews are more effective than text reviews?

Hey Rucha,
My company is planning to launch new software very soon. Probably in early spring, so stay tuned :) Plaky is going to be a free project management alternative to Monday and Asana for managing projects, teams, and all types of work. We are definitely looking forward to hear what PH community has to say here about our new kid on the SaaS market! π

If you're comfortable with sharing things about the whole process of building your startup in public, just do it. I find that transparency is always great base for introduction and success.
