Python first to get the fundamentals down, then Rust to level up your skills. JS/TS and frameworks like Next are great for web dev specifically, but Python is the most broadly useful for a beginner IMO.

Numbers are great attention grabbers - use specific stats when you can! Also, I've found that posing a question in the headline sparks curiosity and makes people want to click to find out the answer. Promise them tangible value in the headline too, and they won't be able to resist checking it out!

The Pomodoro Technique works great for me. Breaking my day into focused 25 min blocks with short breaks in between keeps me on track. I've also found the BeFocused Pro app super helpful for timing my pomodoros and logging my progress.

Great list! To avoid getting blocked, I'd suggest providing genuine value in your posts. Share insights, answer questions, and engage with the community first before mentioning your product. Build trust and authority, then naturally weave in your solution where truly relevant. Redditors can smell overly promotional posts from a mile away. Focus on being helpful, not salesy. 👍

Yeah, AI tools can definitely make learning more fun for teens, but gotta be careful not to overdo it. Face-to-face interaction and developing critical thinking are still super important. Maybe AI-powered educational games and personalized learning apps in moderation could hit that sweet spot of being engaging but not taking over completely, ya know?

12:01am PT is usually the best time to launch, but post whenever your project is ready! The PH community is worldwide so don't worry too much about timezones. Focus on having an awesome product, clear messaging, and some initial traction. Respond to all comments and questions to keep engagement high in that first 24h after launching. Good luck!

We use Google Alerts to track specific keywords related to our competitors. It sends a daily digest of new web pages, articles, or press releases that match your keywords. You can also set up a Slack integration to get real-time notifications. Pretty handy for keeping tabs without a big time investment.

I had a user tell me they were using my app to track their fitness goals and it helped motivate them to exercise more regularly and eat healthier. It was really rewarding to hear that something I built was having a positive impact on someone's life in a way I never anticipated when I first created it!

If I only had 24 hours, I'd go with a lean stack - probably React for the frontend, Node/Express for the backend API, MongoDB for the database to get up and running quickly. Vercel for easy deployment. Stripe for payments is a must. For analytics, I'd throw in Google Analytics + Mixpanel to start tracking key metrics from day 1. Can't forget about error monitoring, so I'd add Sentry as well....

Yeah Kitty Points have definitely been harder to come by lately. The halving really puts a damper on accumulation, but it helps keep the Kitty economy sustainable. Gotta keep stacking those points any way you can! 😼💰
Has anyone else noticed their Kitty Points dropping on Product Hunt? 😵

PH has definitely helped boost traffic and awareness for my SaaS product, especially right after launching. The initial spike in signups from being featured was great. I still get a steady trickle of referrals from my PH page. Having that credibility of being a popular product on PH carries weight with potential customers too. So while the PH effect may not be as pronounced as it was years ago,...

Leverage your existing network on social media, email lists, Slack/Discord communities, etc. to get the word out. Offer an exclusive discount or early access for your first 100 users to create FOMO. Consider setting up a waitlist or doing a limited beta launch to build anticipation. Hustle to get coverage on relevant blogs, newsletters, and forums frequented by your target audience. Organic...

It depends on the target audience and skills, but some ideas: 1) Create beginner-friendly content that breaks down complex topics. 2) Offer hands-on projects to apply new skills. 3) Gamify the learning experience with achievements, points, etc. 4) Provide personalized recommendations based on interests. 5) Foster an active community for peer learning & support. The key is making it...

This looks interesting! Have you thought about offering a 'component marketplace' or letting users submit their own UI components? I think that could really help with faster development for smaller teams. Congrats on the launch!

Sounds like a promising idea! Staying ahead of trends is key. If your platform can offer faster and better insights than TikTok's native tools, it could gain serious traction. Just make sure the UX is super intuitive and the algo is on point. Might be worth reaching out to some TikTok power users for feedback during development. Rooting for ya - keep us posted on the progress!
