There's no easy way to get back on track to be honest. My strategy is to increase my catching up gradually.
On my first day, I try to clean up my internal messaging channels, I don't go in-depth in the messages but rather read diagonally, to make sure there wasn't anything important, on top of that, I take customer calls if there are any, but I pay close attention to not overload myself with...

Honestly, I wouldn't buy a product without reviews, unless I'm feeling risky that particular day.
I'm a big spender on ebay/amazon/aliexpress/joom and I won't buy unless there are not only reviews but also photos and super detailed descriptions.

I love Spotify! In fact, it's the only way for me to concentrate, I actually have a very specific Spotify playlist called "Shit I listen at work", pardon my french.
Do you use Spotify?

Every morning routine thing. I am not a morning person, and I really hate how every publication out there, makes it a **me** problem, instead of a society problem.
I tried waking up super early (5-6am) - wasn't productive till 10am, and then was falling asleep at 2pm.
I tried exercising in the morning- felt completely dead.
Eating breakfast - not my thing either.

Honestly, it absolutely depends on how buggy it is. If it crashes when I try to launch it - definitely don't launch yet.
Bugs are a very relative thing. I worked for a company that for 2 years straight had over 400 open bugs (they had a pretty heavy infrastructure in place) and those bugs affected the system very differently. The question is not how many bugs you have, or how buggy the system...
