I really do agree that this is the key to becoming a 'do-er' and really get things moving. A good idea can only become great if we actually execute on it and make the proper changes according to the learnings.
Also, I don't believe in things being perfect or 100%. A growth mindset means that things can only get better, and while some might believe that it is a pessimistic way to look at...

I believe that the last book I read was "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team", a book that I received from a very good friend and colleague. Usually I find reading books about leadership or mindfulness or similar usually contains a lot of common sense, but it is really good to be reminded of the acts sometimes as we might not always act in accordance to our common sense. We're only humans after all.
Which was the last book that you finished reading?

Out of curiosity - what was the main reason for starting remote work and what are the biggest pros and cons with remote work according to you?
I did fully remote work for a little over a year and the working style did not fit me at all as I realized that I needed that spontaneous social interaction and to have a set place to 'go to' for work. I tried working at cafés etc, but it was never all...

For brainstorming and more creative side of things, having a team to bounce off ideas is always better. However, when it comes to focused work where there's a clear goal and everyone knows which way to go, it's easier to be focused when working alone.
As someone who is very extroverted though, I am highly in need of the social interaction with my colleagues for my own intrinsic motivation.

Fika is soft-launching today! Let's support each other✨
We were actually meaning to push the launch on PH until tomorrow as the new design of the app is still in review in the App Store, oh well, happens!
We're preparing for our big hard launch at the end of November, but as the new first version is out, we thought it would be a great way to start collecting feedback.
The mission of Fika is to help people find their one with the help of AI. We...

So we’re actually doing a re-launch in about a month on Single’s Day for our dating app! Although it is the first time we’re launching this on Product Hunt.
The reason for our re-launch is a very long story, but a lot has happened and we have done many business decisions in terms of the future roadmap which has led us here.
With the re-launch we’re completely revamping and redesigning the...

Which language to use when communicating in different markets?
Heyhey, this is something I have been debating with myself about for a while and would love to hear your opinion on this.
We are currently building Fika - Asia's AI social and dating app. Our first market is Vietnam - where English is not as established as a language, so it would make sense to do marketing in English. However, we also have grand plans to expand around all of Asia, which has a...

Since I am currently alone in my role and in my team of Marketing, I have a very heavy workload as I need to do everything on my own. So, I start off the week by writing down all the things that I need to get done during the coming week, and then I start dividing the different days during the week into smaller 'sprints' with different tasks. At the end of the day, I evaluate whether I had the...

Just had some well-needed vacation to Japan for a few days. Flew back at 2AM and landed in HCMC at 7AM to go directly to work today on Friday. But I'm feeling all good!
How is everyone feeling in the middle of this week?

We're re-launching Fika on 11/11, and our goal is to reach 100 000 MAU by December. We have not touched Fika for more than a year and have currently 20 000 MAUs, and now we're developing a bunch of key features, introducing monetization and stabilizing the app. Besides we're also doing a complete re-vamp of the design.
We started with this whole process only two months ago, so our team are...

What works for me is usually to take a break and think about something else and re-visit the problem after having cleared my mind. My best ideas actually comes from when I'm in the shower.
If that doesn't help, I always try to break down the problem to someone. Sometimes I realize the next steps just by doing that, and other times you get support from the person listening to you.
Where do you normally seek support when stuck with a task?

The story behind Fika - which is a female-focused dating app in Asia is that our CEO (Denise) was adopted from Vietnam to Sweden and she came back looking for her biological mother. And thanks to a viral Facebook post she managed to find her mother after only 18 days, after being in Vietnam multiple times.
This made her want to give back to the hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese people who...

I open up LinkedIn every day even during weekends to check the feed and my notifications. Sometimes I can find it more entertaining than endlessly scrolling on Instagram since it can be both inspiring and educational.
Do you check or post on LinkedIn during the weekend?
