As a technology anthropologist who's helped many companies bring software/hardware products to market, this is unlikely to succeed for several reasons. Growing mistrust of biometrics as a whole, the general market has zero trust for crypto right now, neither this hardware nor blockchain can scale at what would be needed at a societal level.
