I bought a food processor and later, was informed that there's no stock. Trouva refunded me. But, I'm not happy with the fact that I lost USD18 in the transaction because of exchange difference in the charging and refunding, which is totally not my fault but Trouva's. My only mistake was that I trusted the site and believed that it would have the goods I ordered before advertising it! This gives me little faith in ordering from Trouva in the future because any mistake on Trouva's part will incur an exchange rate lost for the customer. If the company is new and still have some kind of teething problems, it shouldn't charge at all but just put the amount on hold instead, like many hotels do, until it has confirmed with the actual merchant about the stock availability or until the merchant is ready to ship. The company is dealing with an international community, using credit card or PayPal as payment modes, which always involves exchange rate lost in each refund.
