Waited for this for years - I want to give people at work access to my work calendar, but I don't want them seeing things like "Dentist Appointment" or "Kid's Graduation". This allows me to keep two calendars (personal and work) and anything I add to either calendar gets blocked out on the other but just as "Personal Calendar Event" (or whatever you want to call it) or "Work Calendar Event".
Then all the tools at my work still work - I can give my wife and kids access to my personal calendar and work people access to my work calendar.

Thank you for this. I was in the process of building something to solve this issue, but your solution is very elegant. I would like to add my vote to support filtering logic.
