Simple screen + webcam recording alternatives

Tested for a few days and really like the ability to record up to 4k with effects auto-added. The effects can be further tweaked in the editor. This provides a very smooth workflow, as the resulting footage can then be added into a full editor like Screenflow. Some cons I found - no audio voiceover/transcription, webcam overlay or the ability to automatically create "guides", like some of the competitors can. The developer is very open to feedback, and I hope some of these features would be rolled out shortly. Would also prefer if the licencing is for lifetime for earlier adopters, and not a yearly renewal.

I absolutely love Tella and the team behind it! Absolutely great people who really care about what they do. It's extremely vital for me to be able to shoot great looking videos with ease, and Tella does that!

Screenflow is pretty simple to learn and has some decent features, but is a little clunky and crashed too often.

As a user for several months, I can attest to its ease of use and quick learning curve. I was able to create my first video without watching any tutorials. The export speed has also improved significantly, taking only 15-20 minutes for 10-minute videos.

Wow. This was the tool I never knew I needed. I was literally googling around for 'tool for demos to zoom into screens' and found this I think. It's EXACTLY what I wanted! 10/10 MUST TRY if you're recording client demos or building prototypes to share
