Pros: makes it easy to use the rights gotten under GDPR
Cons: made in bad faith (to waste people's time) rather than good faith (to help people protect their privacy).
The only reason GDPR requests should be hard to handle is if you haven't set up your systems to handle them. You know these are the rules, you have written a privacy policy (I hope you do) and in that process you should carefully consider which information is stored where and how much of it is actually useful. Almost all business have rules to protect the public at large from undue harm and there's really no reason software development should be any different.
