We've been using it since January and it gave us great visibility into aspects of our setup that was not bringing us great value. Also finding it's forecast feature really helpful month on month.
I use reOptimize every day to optimize cloud bills of my clients. Can't images how would I do that without this amazing tool.
Disclaimer: I am the CTO of DoiT International, the company behind reOptimize
Using reOptimize since we moved to GCP. So much better at visualizing and understanding our ongoing costs.
For integration i just visited there doc, which is so much clear and easy as well but before integration i connected with Dror. He has given me enough information and instructed me till integration got succeed. Every day i spend 20 mins in reOptimize to track my cost billings.
Just one suggestion if possible they can try having AWS also for billing or In GCP it self they can enable some high level monitoring which actually helps DevOps to have limited tools in their bucket.
I use it for analyzing GCP costs in general, per project, and specifically for BigQuery usage analysis per user and per query. It helps me find heavy queries, users whose queries can be optimized and in general optimize performance and costs.
The setup is basically 1-click. It gives very useful insight with clear presentation.
Actually, google should certainly buy it and offers it.
Thanks to this tool we can better understand our spendings and it's very helpful for new GCP users since it makes the cloud service very transparent.
Provides a well organized break down of the cloud billing, and let's you drill into each category for more granularity.
Overall it's a great way to track our GCP spending. We use labels to mark resources for various sub-projects and it's great we can track per-subproject spending this way.
