It's a great, no-clutter PM tool. It feels like they really learned from what worked in tools like Asana, Height and Notion and combined best practices into an essentials only, intuitive and sleek UX and UI. Great for start ups and young teams to get into a builder-mode from the onset.
Super cool product, been working with Asana for the longest time with my team, and finally, there is a solution that actually convinced me to make the move. Don't get me wrong, Asana is such a super powerful product, but overwhelming and hard to find focus IMO. Getting myself and the team up to speed on the various features and get everyone in line was too time-consuming for us. With Hello Ivy things are clear, easy, and just as effective so far.
I have been using the free version for while and love alot about this tool. Founder is very receptive to ideas and implemented embed tabs within a week of my suggestion. A great feature you do not see often is the 'status/updates feed', a fantastic way to keep team members up to date. I can see this being a way to update clients also, though it needs some more features before it can compete with basecamp/kitchen etc for a client portal (inc. custom domain, white label, better customer notifications etc), but otherwise a great tool, looks lovely and it is easy to pick up and use.
