Have you seen the articles about death totals for the individual municipalities in northern Italy? One example was for a small town that averages about 30 deaths / month. In the last month, they had 30 recorded deaths from Covid-19. So in theory, they should have had roughly 60 deaths last month. But they actually had 150.
In Italy, they were only diagnosed with Coronavirus if they were in the hospital. So all the people who died at home, or in nursing homes, were not included in the official data. I am sure similar things are happening with the US data.
It would be interesting to see all this data exactly as you have it, and then have a 4X toggle option for various countries.
So you can see "this is the data as reported" vs "this is the data if we are underreporting by 4X". Or maybe you can enter any number. 4x. 5x. 10x. Etc.
Anyway, great stuff.
