I have tried to register one of my projects on Founderpath. The first impression has been: excellent project. I have imported my data: analytics, twitter and Stripe. Stripe data not imported, waited for ~15 minutes.
The bad of this service is they don't have PayPal integration, not all businesses use the Stripe, or most of them use the PayPal + Stripe.
The second bad of this service: you don't know how your private data is processed; that why I have decided to remove the project from Founderpath.
But, here is the second problem, how to remove it? No way. How to export my processed data? No way.
I have contacted the support team and asked about this, they have responded and removed my account and linked profiles, but, they avoid to respond to my questions:
Where on the website is information about WHO will process my uploaded data?
Where is privacy information? - I mean, about me, my data.
Where to export the data you store about me? You have to give this option legally.
Why can I remove the data from my account? You have to give this option legally.
So, at this time, I can't recommend this service; you don't know with whom you share your data and client base.
Love being able to raise cash without diluting equity. Technically this is way cheaper money than a VC. If I were to raise VC I'd give up 20%+ equity, plus power via a board seat. With this I'd only really have to trade the 15% interest to get the cash. That's a huge game-changer. Have also looked into bank loans and MCAs, but those seem pretty predatory and sketchy, and sometimes require personal guarantees, which tbh isn't worth the risk for an early saas product. Thanks for building this ?makers!
Awesome to see @nathanlatka and @mubashariqbal building products for SaaS Founders. I've seen Nathan consistently innovate for years with new videos, podcasts, products, this valuation tool and much much more.
Highly recommend giving this a try and exploring more of what is going on in the Latka ecosystem. This is fantastic!
this product is great.
its simultaneously a reality check for founders with actionable steps to get you moving.
great team + great idea = great product.
After over 2,500 SaaS founder interviews on his podcast, Nathan must be one of the foremost authorities on SaaS valuations in the world. I'm really looking forward to using this tool the next time we're fundraising to ensure that we're getting a fair valuation. Can't thank you enough for putting this out there π ππ»
