Hello! I'm a co-founder of Feral File along with Bitmark. We've been developing together in this space for many years and started work on Feral File in June 2020, before the current strong NFT hype kicked in. We're doing many things differently from other platforms. Here are a few points:
— all group exhibitions
— commissioned curators define each exhibition and invite the artists
— all works are large editions, we want to keep the price to collect low
— artists trade editions, all artists receive one edition of each work
— we focus on software and 3D files are primary media, not video or GIFs
— we have a unique artist and collector rights agreement, backed by a legal document. we think it's clear and fair for everyone
— bitmark blockchain is specifically for property rights, it also has a much smaller eco footprint than other secure PoW blockchains
