DbVisualizer is a universal database tool for administrators, developers, and analysts. It runs on all major OSes and connects to all commercially viable database engines. A single interface lets the user connect to multiple different databases.
DbVisualizer is one of the few apps that I pay for out of my own pocket, year after year, because it's absolutely indispensable to my work. DbViz offers the right blend of features, helpers, and just getting out of the way that I'm looking for in a database tool. Given that I'm often working in environments with multiple databases, or switch between clients who are on different platforms, the ability to work in a single tool, that is very customizable and flexible, is hugely important. I've come to rely on its diagramming tools as well, using them frequently to help teams visualize complex data relationships or processes.
I have been using DBV for about 10 yrs now and its always been great, I did let my maintenance slip and was using an older V9.2 and recently decided to upgrade to the current version, great, much more functionality and a better GUI.
Still by far my favourite tools for looking at whatever database is put in front of me.
