Honestly, I didn't know I needed Booqsi until I discovered it, and now it feels like the only way to read, track, discuss and share books online (full disclosure: I've been following/supporting Justin and Booqsi for a while now).
I'm a pretty avid reader, but feel like I don't really talk much about the books I read - or sometimes even remember what I've read or if I liked it or not! It's a weird feeling looking at my bookshelves and vaguely recognizing the books, knowing I've read them all, but only having a vague recollection of each one. Goodreads has never worked for me as the experience is just horrible - it feels very 1990s and not engaging at all, so I just gave up on digitally tracking my books beyond my Kindle list.
Enter Booqsi: my bookshelf now made digital. I can track what I'm reading, what I've read, track my thoughts and discuss with others, and easily recommend books to friends. It looks great, it works really well, and Justin & team are making it better every day.
Give Booqsi a shot, I think you'll like it - and be sure to send your feedback directly to Justin (he's super responsive) 🤙🏼
