Beyond Compare

I am using this tool since more than 10 years. Its easy to use and provide most of the feature which I need.

I am yet to find a better tool to compare Text files. Very precise and customizable tool

Absolutely indispensable tool. For software development, document editing, even just simple system backups. Couldn't live without it. Just dock 1 point for a few important issues (i.e. text compare can't ignore line breaks, jpeg compare ignores xmp metadata, not great support for KDE).
