I was pretty excited for this product since I regularly have to go to the ear specialist to clean out my pipes, but holy s*it, one use was enough to scare the crap out of me. Th ear is so sensitive and the twists and turns so many that it doesn’t take a specialist til u sweat and why you need a specialist for this. You can (and do) easily poke and highly potentially hurt your ear canals. And viewing through the tiny cameras lense on your phone makes you nauseous, both from the sense of loosing what direction is which but also from seeing what it looks like in there. All of that is surely standard for the ear specialists, what probably is not, however, is the fact that the little plastic spoons and rods that are the end tip tools to scrape and collect the ear wax, are so insanely fastened to the body of the instrument that it only takes a little pressure for it to fall off, inside your ear canals! This happened the first time I used the bebird and again on the second attempt. That time (just a moment ago) the spoon bit popped off waaay in there, and I had no way to get it out. Now, everyone knows that “you’re never to put anything thinner than your elbow in there”, but panic mode set in after a few minutes of trying to use gravity’s help by jumping with my ear down and shaking my head, to no avail. I could feel the little bit in there and it started to hurt. In the end I had to (cover your eyes all you ear specialists) stick tweezers in there, without any visual aid, and gently and extremely slowly try to find the bit and pull it out. It worked after a while but not without some major scares. I should have gone to the doctors for the removal, I know, but I was stupid. Stupid to ever think that the bebird was a good idea!
