Apptopia

Find below our negative experience with Apptopia. This service was recommended us by the partner who made the research of marketing tools for App analysis in Google Play and AppStore. And we have decided to use the same tool and start to work with them. First of all - the contract has a 12 months commitment (we paid by credit card monthly basis, because monthly basis was available for credit card only). To be honest - doing business B2B by credit card for 12 months for 40k$+ seems suspicious. But we agreed with their Terms. In a few months we understood the functionality is poor enough, but commitment is commitment and we were continue use the service, but begin to research a similar solutions by own. And we found out Apptopia is not a single player and their price even higher than competitors have, but functionality worse. So, the contract was finished, we notified Apptopia for unsubscribing us from the service and ask don't charge us next time. I.e. after 12 charges you have to pay the fee for one year more. It seems on scammer's scheme but not a clear business relationships. Moreover they charged us 13th times, but service was blocked and our account closed. I.e. service access was terminated. Then we turned on SensorTower with the rich functionality and quarter payment by wire transfer :) During a few months Apptopia were continuing an attempts to charge the credit card. And every month we asked them to stop to rebill us. And at the end they successfully charged 14th times, but banking antifraud department has blocked the credit card. And now Apptopia continues send an emails with requires for paying 12 months fee for the service, which never been delivered. Be careful while choosing a business partner and never work by credit card mode. If you still decide to work, exclude the clauses of prolong the contract or even better choose the another one solution! P.S. my partner had the same scenario, that means we're not an exclusion, but the rule in their scam activity!!! Be aware!!!
