The purpose of this mobile chat kit is to create a sample apps that have a consistent cross-platform UI/UX. Many of our customers can take these sample apps and UI Kits and make a few “brand adjustments” and be ready to ship. This saves them months of design and development time. They may not want to use native iOS or Material design in their app, they likely want something that doesn’t make assumptions, is slightly generic yet remarkebly consistent across various platforms. We aim to enable a fantastic developer experience with a clean cross-platform UI/UX for the benefit of our customers. I'm certainly excited to be able to offer a new UI Kit with Figma support! I think this is a really great update to our React Native Chat SDK. We have come a long way since the first launch of react-native chat SDK, 2 years ago. And now, @neilhannah , @virdesai and I (react-native team @getstream_io )- used all our experience of working with react-native and chat, to build this new version of SDK (v3) which has a perfect balance between modern UI/UX and ease of customisability. All of this while making sure we don’t compromise on performance anywhere. Improving developer experience is the top most priority for everyone at Stream and while working on this version of react-native SDK, we have put extra emphasis on this part. I came across this product a while ago when looking to integrate a chat function in my Flutter app. I definitely kept it in mind as it looked like a great product and option! We ended up just putting together a very baseline chat to get out the door, but we will definitely consider making use of your product in the future! Thanks!
