👋 Hey PH friends!
Since launching SavvyCal here in January and becoming the #2 Product of the Month, I’ve been absolutely blown away by the level of support and feedback from you all.
In true maker fashion, we initially launched with just the bare minimum integrations, namely Google Calendar. The most highly-requested integration by far has been iCloud Calendar, and I’m excited to come back to officially launch our integration! 🎉
Along with being able to connect your iCloud Calendar, you can also now:
⚙️ Connect Outlook and Fastmail
⚡️ Create Zapier automations
👥 Add teammates to your links
📅 Schedule round robin according to combined availability
🤝 Delegate account access to a virtual assistant or executive assistant
☝️ Create single-use links
😸 Let me know what you think!
@derrickreimer Best of luck for this PH run!
I've always looking for better ways of dealing with the maddness that is my cal so i'll certainly check this out today.
I've been using SavvyCal for 6+ months as an alternative to Calendly and within our team, as well as personally, we have found it invaluable in handling our bookings for meetings and organising ourselves internally too. Everything in this product just makes sense and it is so elegantly made that it is a pleasure to use (esp. compared to using Google Calendar directly IMO).
I'd never thought about it before but having iCloud support means that I can now combine my iCloud 'home life' calendar with my Google work calendar which means no more adding personal entries to my work calendar which has got to be the right way to do it!
I'm looking forward to native support in Integromat in due course (https://www.integromat.com/en/re...) - please upvote this request if you are an Integromat user/fan! But, in the meantime, Zapier support is great and just general REST API support too so thank you for that.
I always give a S/O to @corey_haines for introducing SavvyCal to me and so many other NoCoders so thanks again, Corey 🙏🏻
@corey_haines@theflowagency That's awesome! Definitely the right call to let SavvyCal do the calendar aggregation for you like that. We'll be keeping an eye on Integromat demand as well!
@theflowagency@derrickreimer I've been using SavvyCal for just over a month now and LOVE it - replying here because I created my own Integromat integration using the Webhook option to send me a customized notification of any new/updated SavvyCal booking into a private Slack channel - even without native support, parsing the webhook info has been enough for me so far :-)
I'd used Calendly for years and switched to SavvyCal when we discovered them after their last launch on Product Hunt. It has been overwhelmingly magnificent in equalizing the scheduling process and amplifying how much we can automate. Can't recommend it enough.
Just got to mention that the SavvyCal website is spot on.. so many nice details and really well executed.. 🔥🔥
Great to see an expansion of the product..
I started using SavvyCal a few months ago and it's a fantastic product. I love that when someone sends me a SavvyCal link, it automatically overlays my own calendar -- leaving no room for accidentally booking a time that doesn't work. It's easy-to-use and just works. Great product!
The team behind SavvyCal has built a great product. The personalization component is something I used while recruiting, to really give each candidate a feeling that we cared about them as an individual. These kinds of touches just show much attention to detail the team puts into SavvyCal. Great work!
I've been a user for a few months now, really appreciate that people I send my calendar to can overlay their calendar on the scheduler to easily find meeting times that work for everyone. Oftentimes, schedulers can feel so one-sided and awkward, but SavvyCal simplifies everything.
I am a HUGE fan of SavvyCal – and I was a huge fan of Calendly first! Grateful I made the switch. Such a great product...we even had @derrickreimer on our podcast this week to talk about it! https://upside.fm/savvycal-inter...
@hirodusk Woot! I'm really stoked about the Fastmail integration. It's a smaller group of folks than the other calendars, but an important one as a privacy-centric alternative. Hopefully integrations like this make it increasingly feasible for people to un-Google themselves!
I discovered SavvyCal after initially enjoying the trial period of Calendly, but finding the price point too high. I’ve been impressed by how simple to use SavvyCal is, and the scope of features it now offers. It’s slightly more affordable than its competitor too (although I wouldn’t mind an even lower price point lol). I’m quite excited about this product! And as a big fan of Jack Sparrow, how could I not choose this over any competitor 😆 ?!
We've been SavvyCal loyalists for a bit of time now. We use it for our entire team and love it. Favorite feature, which we use regularly, is the single-use customer links. We use these to create a very personalized experience for our invitees that really stands out.
I don't usually have to do much scheduling, so I only activated my SavvyCal account this month. I always feel really bad when asking people to take time out of their busy day and talk to me, and I loved being able to tweak my SavvyCal links to customize the name of the event and the description. That made me feel a lot better about sending a scheduling link to someone.
With the new calendar integrations all of my calendar events are available in my SavvyCal account (Apple Calendar, Exchange, and Google Calendar).
When I activated my account, I had to make a small support request which was very quickly answered and taken care of. Thank you Derrick for your work! I really like the product.
I've been using SavvyCal for months and really appreciate how easy it is to use and I'm in awe of the speed of feature additions. SavvyCal powers my demo calendar and meetings with beautiful ease.
This app simply makes setting up calendar appointments simple! I love how the person I send the invite to can easily overlay their calendar and find a time to meet.
