Hey @jeroen_corthout, great tool! It has a very nice user-experience. I have 2 questions: 1. I read on your website that it has website tracking. Does this mean that I see when people click on my emails and also visit my website? 2. Do you offer an api?
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@timothyverhaeghe YES and YES! 1. From the moment you install the website tracking, you'll start tracking website visits. If people click on your links at some point, you'll see their full history of web visits. 2. Of course. And Zapier integration as well for the non-developers!
Timothy Verhaeghe
@jeroen_corthout one more question: So I just paste the tracking code next to the Google Analytics script?
Abhilash Jain
I had an opportunity to try this earlier, its super simple and a must have for your sales team. Saves so much time, great product.
Lieven Janssen
@findabhilash thanks Abhilash! CRM should be super simple right? Our product is there to support sales reps with their daily work as much as possible. Let us know if you have more ideas or feedback to improve our product.
Steven Hambleton
I guess the direct comparison is Pipedrive, I'm assessing a few CRMs so your listing is quite timely! Any plans for a Drift/Intercom integration? These are becoming very useful sales tools! Also, do you support email templates for sending details to customers? If you do then I won't have to rely on Gmail extensions to do this.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@stinhambo Intercom/Drift integration: you can do this already via Zapier, but looking into how we can make this a closer one. Always happy to chat with you about this.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@stinhambo Email templates: it's coming up on our roadmap. In the meantime you don't need any Gmail extensions. It's built in! Just go to the Gmail Settings > Labs > Canned responses and turn it on!!
Steven Hambleton
@jeroen_corthout I'm not really a fan of canned responses, I currently use MixMax but really just for email tracking and templates. What would be super sweet is the ability to send an HTML email (transactional via Mandrill?)
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@stinhambo I use @MixMax sequences as well! It's awesome. And you can use @Salesflare tracking in it without issues.
Ridd
@jeroen_corthout @stinhambo @mixmax @salesflare Is it only compatible with @mixmax or can we continue using Yesware as well?

Looks very nice... a cross between JIRA/Trello, Slack and a CRM... but $ 30/user/month - ouch... I don't happen to share some other's POV that this is inexpensive... For small teams, this is quite pricey quite quickly... That said, I do like some of the automations capabilities, maybe when there are more integrations natively, the price will make more sense/be more easily justifiable.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@exlemor YES! Salesflare is indeed a bit like Slack + Trello for sales, with a built-in tracking system, analytics etc. You NAILED it!
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@exlemor Pricing: Our competitors price their products with comparable feature set at $25 to $125 user, so we're quite in the lower price end of the market. Plus: we'll save you more time and help you bring more sales. Pinky swear 😉
Emmanuel Lemor
@jeroen_corthout That's fair depending on who you consider your competition to be - so whom in the CRM world do you consider your equal/competition? I'm assuming Salesforce, is in the list, perhaps FreshSales, but i'd be interested in seeing who else you see in that same rough competitive landscape...
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@exlemor We're in the space of sales CRMs for startups and SMEs. This includes quite a list: Close.io, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Freshsales, ... and yes, some people swear by Salesforce. None of these CRMs are however built for automation and intelligence.
Emmanuel Lemor
@jeroen_corthout personally can't STAND Salesforce, [corrected above post to say FreshSales not Desk of course]... I guess from that standpoint I guess I see your point - problem is there are quite a few nice 'less fancy' CRMs for less and they work too :/ But I'll look forward to seeing more automations and blog posts on how SalesFlare makes life better/easier for salespeople... because if there is ONE thing that's true across any CRM I have seen is that while Salespeople are asked/forced to use one, they don't like to sit there and type in lots of data so anything that can minimize that greatly would be a great choice...
Savvas Zortikis
Just starting using Salesflare and I'm so excited about it! Most probably we'll move permanently to you guys :) Keep up the great work! 🙌
Lieven Janssen
@savvaszortikis thanks Savvas we're also excited to have you on Salesflare :-) we'll definitely keep up the great work! Customer success is the most important thing we focus on every minute of our day!
Sunil Neurgaonkar

Best CRM in the market, no doubt!

Pros:

It's software that makes you work less instead of more. Most CRMs are not like that. It's really awesome.

Cons:

I don't know. Nothing really at this point.

Sunil Neurgaonkar
This is indeed an intelligent CRM app plus it's cost effective. Will definitely recommend it to my boss and try to shift to this CRM. 🙌
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@sneurgaonkar Let us know if we can help with that 😜
Jason Wise
Great job, @JeroenCorthout + team! Can't wait to use Salesflare to simplify CRM and all the cumbersome tasks associated with it. What features in the current platform help Salesflare stand out among competing products? What have you learned about your customers that surprised you or challenged an assumption you had when you began? Keep it up!!
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@jawise @jeroencorthout Good questions! In essence, it's the way we built it for intelligence that makes the difference. You'll see that our software indicates automatically which customers are hot, who of your colleagues knows whom how well, what opportunities are slipping, ...
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@jawise @jeroencorthout On the second question: there's so many assumptions we had that were wrong. We aimed at bigger customers, were making a system complementary to enterprise CRMs, made the app too magical v.s. understandable, ... Luckily we have some really outspoken and smart customers like @Udacity that tell us where we go wrong.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
First of all, thanks @bramk for hunting Salesflare! We're psyched to be here. My co-founder Lieven and I love to automate our work by building intelligent systems. We deeply believe in software that works for its user, not the other way around. About two years ago we had enough of manually inputting data in different CRMs. It is a real pain to keep a CRM up-to-date, even in the more user-friendly sales pipeline tools, meant for startups like us. One sunny afternoon, we figured the data we were inputting was already available in other systems. We decided to build an intelligent and automated CRM for startups. To free startups of manual data input and have them spend the least time and energy possible on their CRMs. We called it Salesflare. Salesflare automatically fills out your address book and keeps track of all interactions with the people you're in contact with. It takes data from social media, company databases, phone, email, calendar, email and web tracking... to hand it to you in automated customer timelines. Everything you need to know about your customers right at your fingertips. Easy and effortlessly. In the past few months we've onboarded happy customers like Udacity, Behave.org, Hungry, Spent, ... and Salesflare is now ready to welcome you all! Here's our unicorn customer Udacity explaining why they use Salesflare: https://blog.salesflare.com/why-... We've got a special discount for you, Product Hunters, which gives you 50% off for 3 months when you subscribe after the trial: 50OFFPH What's more: we help with data imports FOR FREE, and also with setting up integrations with Slack, Trello, MailChimp, ... using Zapier. Hope we can welcome you on Salesflare, so we can help you boost your sales and productivity! Our team will be available here all day to answer any questions you may have. We’re really looking forward to your feedback!!

This is awesome! Great balance of features. I find that many CRM tools have way too many options and are overly complicated for smaller companies. I've particularly been looking for easier ways to pull in website interactions rather than having to flip between analytics and CRM. Two quick questions: 1. When signing up with Gmail, it asked for a lot of permissions, including fully managing email. Are these all really necessary and could you briefly speak to how you handle security/privacy? 2. Are there any plans to integrate with Segment to make it easy to add/manage the JS snippet?
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@alexyaseen 1. We connect with emails via IMAP and don't have a choice. We're probably change this in the next few months. 2. It's on our roadmap! We do agree that would be awesome.
Matt Pliszka

Love the way Salesflare automates your daily work with the CRM, it's really comfortable and saves a lot of time, at the same time providing all the most important CRM functionalities.

Pros:

automation functions (auto contacts' sync from social media/email), focus on visual presentation (very clear pipeline with companies' logos)

Cons:

quite expensive

Congrats @JeroenCorthout and the team for landing on Product Hunt. This show that hard work always pays off and that we are still in a people business although we should embrace the robots. Keep pushing guys
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@nanth09 Thanks for your support Jonathan! 😃 Let me know if we can help you out further with using Salesflare.

Our startup is growing so we could use a better CRM for sure ... Can I use custom fields on the API? I'm looking for a system to store all the customer data we gather, so the sales guys can use it while following up customers.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@rutgerbevers No problem. You can use all the custom fields from the API, on GET, PUT and POST. Just use custom.fieldname (spaces become underscores, all lowercase).
Bryn Jones
Great execution! Curious though, what data is exactly collected with the email signatures? And what happens if I subscribe, does it go back?
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@bryncdn 1. It collects phone numbers, addresses, positions, Skype handles, ... everything that is usually present in an email signature. No need to search email signatures anymore when you want to call someone... 2. It does indeed go back. I think it does the last 1000 active contacts.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@bryncdn Glad you like it 😎

Salesflare will kill Pipedrive. Promise. If you want to stop keeping everything manually, get this.

Pros:

It's visual, easy to use, and automated!

Cons:

Doesn't make me pizza (yet)

Jeroen Corthout ☕
Thank you Sampath! Our focus is indeed on ease of use and automation. We won't let you down 👊

I've been on what seems like a perpetual hunt for a CRM that works, have tried literally dozens, and most recently have been using cloze but still not happy with it b/c of difficulty in clarifying multiple deal types, which Salesflare (based on my 5 min experience so far) seems to have - like the UI too, however, seems only way to send e-mail from contacts within interface is to open up separate mail browser? And I have to have integration with multiple e-mails unclear if there's a way to do that? Also got an error when connecting my calendar, so love the concept and seems promising but underwhelmed on the test drive :(
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@cynthiajaggi Happy to hear you like our UI! 😀
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@cynthiajaggi 1. About sending email from the web app: that's indeed not possible yet. It's coming. What I suggest however is that you just keep sending emails from Gmail, and use the Salesflare sidebar (Chrome plugin). Then you have all Salesflare CRM functionality within your mailbox!
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@cynthiajaggi 2. Connecting multiple e-mail addresses: totally possible! Just head over to Settings > Email settings and click on the big orange plus button!
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@cynthiajaggi 3. Error on connecting your calendar: oops! Could you try again and see whether it persists? Just talk to us via the Intercom live chat... we'll solve it 😃
Luke Swanek
Looks really clean. Couple of questions I see that you have a mobile app on your landing page. Can I do everything from the mobile app? What are the limitations? What about the GMail plugin? Can I operate most activity from GMail?
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@lukeswanek You can do EVERYTHING from both the mobile app and the Gmail/Outlook plugin!

SalesFlare looks awesome! Congrats @jeroen_corthout + team. Noticed your pricing on the site was only in Euros. Thinking maybe you could add USD so ppl don't hesitate thinking maybe its EU only?
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@clarkchambers Same price in USD! We'll make that clearer, thanks!!

The team at Salesflare is brilliant. Wish them all the best!

Pros:

The best CRM in the market at the moment. Sleek UI and focuses on automation. Love Salesflare

Cons:

Not that I can think of

Jeroen Corthout ☕
Awesome 😃 Let's maybe build a native integration soon?

At Udacity's Udacity Blitz team, we looked pretty hard to find a CRM that would allow us to easily track all interactions our team has with clients and give us some more intelligence and enrichment, all without input. Salesflare has all of this out-of-the-box. In Salesflare, we can open an account and automatically see every email conversation, note, and attachment that our assigned team has with every account contact in one place by simply connecting our emails on signup. Usually, you have to dig around to each 1-on-1 conversation with only one contact, or you have to remember to bcc every email to the CRM, which does not help when there is handover. You want to see every interaction with a client if you are coming onto an account, all at a glance. It doesn't hurt that Salesflare is a great value for the feature set and that they are always on-call for service with great turnaround time. They are responsive with new features. We needed a flexible, powerful, but low-touch CRM, so Salesflare is a great choice, no matter our team size as we grow.
Jeroen Corthout ☕
@xolin The whole team just got totally quiet reading your words! Thanks so much for believing in us immediately after launch. You are awesome.
