Three months after our public launch on Product Hunt we're back with Reflect 2.0! A huge amount of work has gone into this release - big props to our little team (3 of us!). This release brings templates, note history tracking, redesigns, and so much more. There is a massive amount of complexity that goes into that blinking cursor on every Reflect note. A large part of the work for this release went into a rewrite of our sync engine. Ultimately this means faster startup times and more intelligent merging of offline notes. Reflect has a free two-week trial for you to check it out. We email you before the trial ends to remind you it's ending. p.s. happy to answer any questions you might have about building a lifestyle biz

switched from Bear to Reflect a few months ago and it's safe to say I'm not going back. love watching the work and speed @maccaw and team put into building it. curious to hear what technical hurdles y'all are working on and hoping to solve / implement in the future. :)

Been hearing good things about this app. Not sure why have a new version as some of these are basic features in a modern note taking app. Priced premium, but unchanged from v1. Roam is no longer the most expensive anymore 😲 Surely an app to watch in the crowded notes space..

I see Tasks in the sidebar of the image but not in the product. Is this still to come or do I need to enable it in settings?
Alex MacCaw
@anonuser11 Sorry that is a bit of a tease. I accidentally took a screenshot of my dev version of Reflect (which has tasks). Coming soon though!

The UI is very neat and intuitive, and it's definitely an upgrade from 1.0 - especially with the templates. Congratulations to the team for quickly launching another major version within 3 months! πŸš€

Have been using Reflect as my main notetaking app for months now. It has remained clean and simple and very focussed. But the improvements, from a small but very motivated team, come really fast and it shows. Great app, great devs, highly recommended. Well done @_vojto @ocavue and @maccaw
