Hey Product Hunters :) I’m David, CEO and co-founder at Morgen! A big thank you to @percival for hunting Morgen! If your time management app stack is growing without actually making your time feel more manageable, Morgen is for you. We’ll know we got it right if, once you’ve started using Morgen, you never need to open any of those apps again.🤞 It’s no shade to the productivity tools we’ve all come to rely on. But the problem is, they have made time management way too complex. We prefer simple, we build simple. That’s why Morgen:
  • integrates with the calendars, to-do apps, productivity tools, and schedulers you already use, so you can manage them all from one place
  • embeds a Calendly-like scheduler right into your calendar
  • intertwines your to-do list and calendar, so you can carve out and defend dedicated time to complete your tasks
  • pulls all your calendars together into a common view because let’s be real, life doesn’t stop when work begins, nor does work end neatly at 5 pm (makers, I see you 👀)
  • works across all platforms (looking at you Linux users)
  • If you’re wondering if this will work for you, know that we integrate with all calendars (from the giants like Google, Outlook, and iCal to the obscure ones), to-do apps, and your virtual conferencing. AND as of today, Morgen is on mobile. You’re not always tied to your desktop (hopefully 😬) so now you’ll have your schedule and to-dos at your fingertips at any time. I hope you’ll try Morgen for yourself and see how it transforms the way you manage your time. (🎁 Hunters get their first month free!) New releases are scheduled every two weeks, so be prepared for frequent enhancements. 📪This community’s feedback is invaluable, and I can’t wait to hear what you think - I’m confident it will help us make Morgen even better! Thank you! David PS: If you have feedback and are open to discussing it, please book a quick chat with me through my booking page! Can’t wait!

@percival @david_tedaldi1 It looks like a great product. It looks like a great product. Motion is your competition? Have you received any VC capital yet?
    Brenna Donoghue
Hi @yankovichv - Thanks! I hope you'll give it a try! re Motion: Motion takes a very different (and really slick) approach to time management. It's neat watching how they evolve. We are starting to develop intelligence features (our CTO has a Ph.D. in AI so this is absolutely a strength), but we are taking a different approach. With Motion, users "hand over the keys" and it optimizes their calendar for them. We're harnessing intelligence to give real-time guidance for how users can get more from their time, but we intend to always keep you in the driver's seat, making the best-informed decisions you can. The other big difference is Morgen integrates with tools you already use, rather than having. Have you tried Motion? re VC: Yes, we just closed our pre-seed round last month. We are backed by VI Partners and New Forge. Phew.... that was long-winded!😮‍💨 Thanks for the great questions!

Hi PH community, I’m Marco, co-founder (and tech guy) of Morgen. I’m excited to be on Product Hunt today - thanks @percival! Here’s the story of how Morgen got started (spoiler: some may call me gullible, I prefer trusting 😉)… 👇 Five years ago, I started my PhD at ETH Zurich in Artificial Intelligence. Linux was the go-to for training models on a GPU. After spending hours searching for a calendar that simply worked with a Linux + Exchange Calendar combination, I came up empty-handed. I asked some friends for their help to configure Thunderbird, and one replied recommending that I try “Zapdos” instead.🤦‍♂️ (I searched for a calendar called Zapdos for far too long before realising they were messing with me! 😤 Anyone else not know who Zapdos is, or just me?!) That’s when I decided that, if I were to build a productivity tool, it would be for everyone, unconstrained by their platforms and tools. This is what you get with Morgen: no infinite waiting list, no VIP pricing model, all your devices, all your calendars, all your tools. 💕
    Brenna Donoghue
@percival @marco_ancona2 This might be one of the best (and nerdiest) origin stories ever.
    Sarah Jordi
@marco_ancona2 Love this 😂 But all I want to know now: Why is Morgen not called Zapdos now?
    David Tedaldi
@marco_ancona2 @sarahxjo haha 😂 that's the right question! The answer is a pretty sad story of trademarks and royalties 🥲
Seems really awesome to deal with multiple calendars in one place! Can't wait to give this a shot! Congrats 🎉
    David Tedaldi
Hey, @min_zhou appreciate your comment, and I can't wait to hear your feedback after you'll have taken us for a spin!
    Brenna Donoghue
Thanks @min_zhou. Yes, it's designed for this! How many calendars will you test it out with?
    Gaurav Goyal
    Seems quite good. Very clean UI. Congratulations @david_tedaldi1 @brenna_donoghue @marco_ancona2 @degisner @fmorath
    Brenna Donoghue
Thanks Gaurav. If you try it out, please let us know what you think!
    David Tedaldi
@gauravgoyal_gg thanks for the feedback and for calling out the whole team! This amazing platform would have never been possible without them! @brenna_donoghue @marco_ancona2 @degisner @fmorath
    Gaurav Goyal
    @brenna_donoghue @marco_ancona2 @degisner @fmorath @david_tedaldi1 Couldn't agree more. I read somewhere - What's a crazy dream without a crazy team!!
    Erik Jentges
Morgen solved so many problems for me, all in one tool. Work, private, and other calendars all together, to finally have this one calendar that rules them all. Maybe the biggest boost of confidence is that they are an ETH spinoff and all their data is securely located on Swiss servers (yes, in this case there is an upside to the culture of banking secrets). CEO responded super quickly, I'm sure I could just take my bike and visit them in their HQ and bring them some chocolate. But they're probably busy coding... I love morgen and recommend it.
    Brenna Donoghue
"One calendar to rule them all"... can I steal that?! Thanks @erik_jentges. Also yes, please bring chocolate. Here all day! 😉
    David Tedaldi
Ahaha @erik_jentges your comments really make my day :) If you bring chocolate to the HQ we got good coffee for you ;) proof attached!
    Brenna Donoghue
@erik_jentges @david_tedaldi1 😂 ... but also kind of serious, right?!
    David Tedaldi
@erik_jentges @brenna_donoghue, of course, I'm serious :D I never joke about chocolate ahah
    Erik Jentges
@brenna_donoghue @david_tedaldi1 Proof! Great conversation on the future and vision of investing time wisely. Always better with an espresso and some very Swiss chocolate (Ragusa - give that a try 🍫). David promised to share with the team, of course!
    Congrats on the launch!🎉
    Marco Ancona
    Thanks @ninaaaa0913!
    Brenna Donoghue
Thank you Dann! I hope you'll give it a try and let us know what you think. Your feedback would be a great boost to the product.
    Danny Hatcher 🔎
As someone that has been using Morgen for over a year now, I can say it has become an automatic and essential part of my day. I open it up on my computer more times than I can count during the day, using hotkeys to quickly and easily change, create, and check what I need to do. My old stack of Notion, google calendar, and calendly has all been replaced by Morgen.
    Marco Ancona
@dannyhatcher Hey Danny, thanks for sharing and for all the great suggestions you gave us along the way till here! Obsidian integration coming soon ;)
    Brenna Donoghue
When the ultimate master of time management says we replaced his app stack... well, our work is done! 😉 If only, you know us... the next release is just around the corner. Thanks for all your support Danny!
    David Tedaldi
@marco_ancona2 what a spoiler... 😒... 😜 That was meant to be a big surprise for @dannyhatcher!
    Rahul Nair
Great job y’all! Loving the interface and flow. Congrats on your launch!
    Marco Ancona
    @rahul_nair93 Thanks Rahul, much appreciated!
    David Tedaldi
    @rahul_nair93 thanks for your feedback!
    Brenna Donoghue
@rahul_nair93! Thanks for trying it out. We pride ourselves on our user experience, so that's music to our ears (especially @marco_ancona2 )! If you have any feedback, please send it our way!
    Sarah Jordi
I'm self-employed and use different calendars, productivity apps and to-do lists and I think I'm actually quite good at almost seamlessly flipping through all my apps, different chrome clients and calendars. So I'm usually a bit hesitant when it comes to trying something new. But after testing Morgen for a few weeks, when I now look at my laptop screen, all I see is one active time management app, and it's Morgen. My dock looks so clean 😍 And all of my client appointments and tasks in one neatly designed overview. And I can color code stuff 😭 🥺 I'm also saying goodbye to my Calendly account now, since you guys let me have my own scheduling page directly connected to all of my calendars. Honestly, this is magic and a huge game-changer for my day-to-day work. One wish for the future: Can you integrate Toggl Track, so it automatically tracks the time of my calendar entries? 🙏
    Brenna Donoghue
A clean dock... the thing of productivity dreams! When we think of who we're designing for, it's your case exactly @sarahxjo! Thanks for taking a leap of faith and trying Morgen. Will take a look at Toggl Track. And if you have any other recommendations, please check out our roadmap to upvote stuff you want or add new ideas. Thanks!!!
    David Tedaldi
It's so great to see how you use Morgen @sarahxjo! Have you had a chance to try the mobile app too? Would love to hear how that fits into your setup! Also, thanks for your idea about Toggl Track... we might be exploring the idea already......... 👀🤫
    Sarah Jordi
@david_tedaldi1 I do love the mobile app too, but there the habit-switch to automatically open Morgen before the other apps hasn't happened yet. Give me a few more days :D One question: On mobile, when I add an entry via the + button, I can only add a calendar entry and no to do, correct? I've had some situations on the go in which I wanted to quickly add a to-do/task to my calendar (not just to the list).
    Brenna Donoghue
You can add tasks in mobile - just make sure you're on the tasks tab. (You can also schedule on mobile by swiping right.) Our mobile apps are brand spanking new, so we're still working on making the experience more intuitive. If you run into any other problems or have questions, please let us know anytime!
    Gregorio Zanon
@sarahxjo Tasks on mobile are super neat - hit '+' and you're typing already. I've switched to Morgen tasks for my personal ToDos because it's so easy to quickly input a task on the go :)
    killian Fjellbakk
Really cool! Wishing you all the best for the launch guys! 👏
    Brenna Donoghue
@killian_fjellbakk1 Thanks so much Killian. Can't wait to hear what you think of it!
    David Tedaldi
Thanks, @killian_fjellbakk1! Can't wait to hear your feedback!
    Philipp Schwengel
Congrats on the launch guys! Impressive amount of (actually useful) features you already offer. And the pricing seems absolutely affordable. Wish you all the best!
    David Tedaldi
Hey @phil_schwengel, I LOVE your small side note in brackets :D I look forward to hearing back about how's the experience for you!
    Brenna Donoghue
Actually.... 😂. Thanks, @phil_schwengel, we pride ourselves on not being about bells and whistles, but about the functionality that actually makes a difference. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it once you get a chance to really dig in!
    Yousef Amar
As a Linux user, Morgen isn't only a good calendar app, it's _the only_ good calendar app. Can't live without it!
    Marco Ancona
@yousefamar Totally feel you - see my comment about Linux and the Zapdos story 🤣
    Brenna Donoghue
"the only_ good calendar app".... would it be weird to get this tattooed? Thanks so much Yousef for your feedback!
    Peter Quiel
Hi, I'm a linux user and that's the reason why I tried out morgen. Never regret it. I use the Morgen Personal plan, because I have a personal and a business calendar. Morgen is the only app that integrates both. Jumping to meetings directly from morgen is so... easy. Furthermore, I use Evernote as my PKM and note taking tool. Evernote has tasks as well and it's a great to have tasks near your projects hub. I'm a software dev and wrote a document management sync for evernote to have all files synced with no effort. I would love to write an Task-Integration for morgen. Would be cool if you could open morgen and see it as a platform. Best, Peter
    Marco Ancona
@peter_quiel Hey Peter! Marco, CTO at Morgen here. We are already working on opening up our APIs to allow everyone to integrate Morgen with their favorite tool. Stay tuned ;)
    Brenna Donoghue
@peter_quiel thanks Peter for your support and for wanting to make Morgen better! ♡
    Kasper Baastrup
This product is amazing, i already use it on my desktop and i'm excited for the mobile app
    David Tedaldi
@kasper_baastrup can't wait to hear your feedback on the mobile app! I might be a bit biased 😇 but to finally have all my calls on my phone next to my tasks really changed the way I work on the move!
    Brenna Donoghue
😊 @kasper_baastrup, I'm thrilled that you're loving it on desktop... I have a feeling you're going to love the mobile version! Please let us know!
    Sierra Randolph
I’ve been using Morgen since it was called MineTime, and I can’t go back! Native Linux support, being able to sync CalDAV calendars, and doing it all in a gorgeous interface? Sold. Can’t wait to see how it grows over time!
    Marco Ancona
@theghosthybrid Hi, yes long way since MineTime! :) Thanks for being an early supporter!
    Brenna Donoghue
🤩Wow @theghosthybrid, a true OG! Thanks for your support. I'm excited to hear what you think of the new mobile app!
    August Bradley
Morgen is the clear winner as the most capable and innovative calendar app from my research. A next-generation tool. Very excited to see it launching here today. Great work, David & team!
    David Tedaldi
@augustbradley thank you for your feedback!
    Brenna Donoghue
Would it be too much to frame "Morgen is the clear winner as the most capable and innovative calendar app from my research" and hang it up in our HQ?! Thank you @augustbradley for the amazing endorsement.
    Brenna Donoghue
Yes... so many good things are coming down the pipe! Thanks for your support Francesco.
    Gabe Perez
Congrats on the launch @david_tedaldi1! Feels like this could replace both SavvyCal and Fantastical 3.0 as an all-in-one solution. Will give it a try <3
    Marco Ancona
Thanks @gabe! SavvyCal and Fantastical are indeed great products. We like to think of calendars as the place where you can access everything related to your time in one place.
    Brenna Donoghue
Thanks @gabe. After you give it a try, please let us know what you think. Getting that calendar stack down to just one makes everything so much more smooth. 🙌
    David Tedaldi
@gabe that's a hell of feedback. Can't wait to hear how your test has gone!
    Sean Crosby
Morgen is the best and only way of connecting my work Office 365 and personal Gmail calendars on Linux automatically on startup. Absolute lifesaver for any Linux user
    Brenna Donoghue
@sean_crosby Yay! So glad to hear this. The Office 365<>Google on Linux calendar is a tough combo otherwise!
    Marvin Offers
Love it and will give it a try! (Reminds me of amie from @muellaire - still on the waitlist tho)
    Marco Ancona
Thanks @marvinoffers. Yes, people at Amie are doing a great job in the space. Our focus is a bit different as we want to bring all aspects of time together, starting by integrating with all calendars out there. Looking forward to hearing your feedback! 😀
    Brenna Donoghue
⏳Waitlists... who has time for that? 🤷 Thanks Marvin. I can't wait to hear what you think.
