FaceCode is the most intelligent coding interview tool ever built. It's helps interviewers make objective hiring decisions with ease, speed and accuracy.
Existing user. The tool has an incredibly large feature set. When these guys say "in-depth", they mean it. The best developer interview tool that we've ever used.
Love FaceCode - one of the coolest features is being able to see the candidate code live! A lot easier to evaluate their skills as against using a whiteboard/online word processing tools :D
@mithila_n_bhat Yes, we add fresh questions every month. Also, our questions are unique and crafted in-house, which means the content that you're using in an interview is fresh and of the highest quality.
FaceCode 2.0 is pretty nifty. The editor interface is very good. At par with offline editors. I see this to be a good tool to use even for offline interviews. With the ability to include your own questions, interview insights, it makes a great tool for code pairing interviews
Wow!! Automated interview summary - exactly what I was thinking off while taking an interview yesterday. For people who take multiple interviews in a day, this product is a gift from the gods.
@harsh_namdev1 Please do. You can always reach out to me via Twitter if you have feedback, or want to suggest a feature addition. Me and my team and are always keen on talking to engineers and product managers from around the world.
HackerEarth understands developer hiring like no one else. A big fan of their assessments product. I’m keen on seeing how this new tool will play out. Congrats on the launch, team!
@srikanth_tirupattur Yes, we really believe that a coding interview tool should be more than just Video + IDE. There's so much more in the interview experience that can be improved, and we've done just that with FaceCode 2.0.
Hey everyone!
I’m Sachin, Co-founder and CEO at HackerEarth. Thanks for the hunt, Kevin!
I’m super excited to announce the launch of FaceCode 2.0. The entire HackerEarth team has worked hard over the last one year to create this product.
The pandemic forced an evolution of coding interview tools, making them adapt to a fully remote interview process. But despite these improvements, we realized that the existing products were only facilitating collaboration but not really helping interviewees in making objective hiring decisions.
So, we decided to reach out to our hiring managers and learn more about their challenges. We focused on diving deep into the interview process, so that we could look beyond the surface-level problems. Across different geographies, interviewing scale and skill sets, we found one insight across the board: it wasn’t just remote coding interview tools that needed to change, it was coding interviews as a whole!
We learned coding interviews have 3 major challenges:
1) Recruiters and hiring managers are often caught underprepared for an interview, given their workload. This problem is more acute in the case of younger interviewers.
2) Hiring decisions are prone to both bias and inefficiency due to a lack of objective evaluation parameters.
3) Recording interview feedback takes a lot of time and in many cases not done objectively and quickly, leading to biased evaluations.
How did we solve these problems?
1) A large library of relevant, high-quality coding questions that can be chosen on the fly.
2) An objective system that standardizes scoring across your interview panel.
3) An interview summary generator that automatically generates an interview summary based on parameters like interviewer ratings, candidate engagement levels, time spent coding, quality of code, etc.
We've also added comprehensive Interview reports, audio transcripts and video recordings for post-interview analysis.
Give FaceCode a whirl and let us know what you think. We believe it’s time for Intelligent Coding Interviews and we want to lead the way with FaceCode. We’re also keen on answering any questions you might have.
Cheers,
Sachin
