I love the concept of Gilion and being from fintech and now a bootstrapped founder of an internet startup, I can understand the potential of data and tweaks that can turn around a business.
Love the overall concept and more power to you for creating such a tool and finally taking it to the funding end to finally make sense of the data you have worked on as a startup.
Hope you bring this to India as we have a cool ecosystem of startups here including mine.

@hlandgren Took me a minute to get it as the language on the page to start was a bit general but I think I got it. Seems like its helpful for companies looking to do reporting to investors or to pitch future investors, and has some nice design work. More thoughts

The hardest part of this seems like data integrity and programmatic interpretation. For example, it can be difficult to get the real picture of how a business is doing based on the numbers alone. Some businesses have natural seasonability (e.g. if you're selling to students, you'll likely see a drop in engagement over the summer). Curious how you manage this, @hlandgren. :)
@rrhoover Yes, thats the cool part about growth forecasting - If you break growth down into its fundamental components, like local seasonality, local retention rates etc, its much easier to identify trends and model the fundamentals into the future and then roll them back up again. This approach also makes it easier to understand more about the likelihood of different scenarios into the future.
When companies connect their data to the Gilion platform, a completely siloed and secure analytics infrastructure gets spun up for them, where only their data is managed. Data is never shared outside of this silo, unless the company invites someone else to the platform or use the Decks feature, where they can curate a set of metrics into a story and share to someone.
Happy to demo it if you're interested - its pretty cool to see all metrics and forecasts just appearing after you've plugged in your data sources and the first sync is done :D

I have a few questions:
- How does one feed data into Gilion? What kinds of integrations do you support?
- Am I right in assuming Gilion's prediction will work better with many small-ish customers, as opposed to a few whale clients?

âWe are currently supporting +50 data sources you can connect to Gilion, everything from your marketing tools to invoicing systems. This to be able to have all your data in one place.
âWe have features in the analysis such as Customer Concentration which will reveal as you said if you have many small or few whale clients. But we see better and more relying forecasting results when you at least 20 customers.

To answer your question, Gilion is most suitable for startups once they've reached around 20 customers. At this stage, we typically see sufficient data volumes to provide accurate forecasts within the platform. However, our platform is flexible and can adapt to your needs as your startup grows.

The design is very aesthetic and it seems like a useful tool especially for early stage startups.
There is a similar platform called DueDash (https://duedash.com) a German startup, on which I worked upon which does the same thing. You may want to check it out that also.
