This sounds like a solid update, @tyler_denk! I’m curious how the creative control will impact the overall UX for newsletter readers. @tyler_denk @ezshine We'll be adding more customization as we go, but the ultimately goal is to map the right audience to the rigth advertiser with the right messaging.

We're constantly improving here. We've built this process to be full opt-in so if we offer an ad to your newsletter, you can accept or decline depending on the alignment to your audience. We'll continue to learn and drive more relevant ads your way as we build our demand and understand our publishers better.

Our goal is for feedback to drive our ability to align advertisers more directly to publishers, and thus improve engagement rate amongst readers - - which result in better business results for advertisers....driving a positive flywheel.

@goodtribelab - A valid concern! The decision to monetize with ads, and which ads to select, is left 100% up to the creator.
Also, the ad network is just one monetization feature we offer. We also enable creators to offer paid subscriptions and to earn from recommending other newsletters. The idea is that creators can find a monetization strategy that works for them.
