If you are on a budget and you are looking for an app store optimization (ASO) tool which can help you find new keywords, seamlessly integrate with your ASO workflow, and help you track keyword rankings — my recommended go-to tool is App Radar. The free version includes up to 2 apps, 100 keywords, analyze 5 competitors and show you 30 days’ worth of historical data. More than what you may get with some of the paid tools out there. Loving the UI as well. @kriebernegg and team have done an amazing job of putting this together.
I found out about App Radar on @stevepyoung's podcast as I started diving into ASO. Thank goodness for App Radar! I couldn't imagine trying to get all this info on my own, and every other tool wanted to charge $30 a month. I get that there's value there, but I just acquired all the assets of Shuffle, so I am trying to be as lean as possible while also driving up installs, IAPs, etc. App Radar has been a godsend. Thanks @kriebernegg for making it!

Hi, like your product, does app radar provide keyword suggestions? and if yes depending on which factors?
Genie Patra
@peter_basili hey peter! so with App Radar's keyword finder feature you'll be able to get auto suggested keywords, which are relevant to your app. Also, in the keyword ranking feature you can see which keywords you and your competitor apps are ranking for then choose to track them and use them for more keyword inspiration. That's all included in the free version! Then with our lowest paid plan, the startup plan, you'll get access to premium features like, advanced AI-recommended keywords
Ruslan Nazarenko
Nice! Can App Radar also replace some of the paid features of other ASO tools such as sensortower, apptweak, mobileaction, etc?
Thomas Kriebernegg
Hey @ruslan_nazarenko 👋🏼 App Radar's free version is definitely powerful. There are several usually premium features that you can access for free. You'll be able to add 2 apps, 100 keywords and 5 competitors.
Andreas Kroepfl
Really enjoying the daily updates from this tool to track the app stats and to improve ASO. Already the first days gave important insights for the software and product we are providing! Good job and perfect quality - thanks @kriebernegg

Jen Breysler
Hi, what's your competitive advantages? What things really set you aside from the bunch of other tools that are on the market today (mobile action, sensortower, apptweak, appfollow, etc)? Thank you!
Genie Patra
@jen_breysler Hi Jen! The free ASO tool offers quite a few features that are usually included in our competitors paid for models. So you're getting premium functionalities for $0! Aside from that, with App Radar you can push all your ASO updates within our tool directly to Google Play and App Store Connect
Rabin Nuchtabek

it helped to streamline the workflow and optimize the ASO of few apps that I am working on for clients. And again, it's free!

Pros:

It's free! Allows you to find the keywords you actually need, improves the workflow and helpful optimization suggestions

Cons:

Hard to point out its flaws since its free. Only cons are the certain limitations and features that you only get with the paid version

Marie Skalozub

As a fresh marketeer I started to explore the topic of App Store Optimisation as it is the equivalent of SEO for mobile apps. I got the free plan to play around with it, using a very basic app from my company just to learn more on the topic. I think this is a perfect option for students or people who are just curios about ASO.

Pros:

-F Free - Sleek minimalist interface - Ease of use

Cons:

- Limited support in free version

Markus Furrarii
Hi, I just signed up for App Radar and realized that I have to connect my developer account to App Radar? What is the reason?
Elisa Mourão
@furrarii Thanks for the question. :) When you connect your developer account you'll be able to access all of the features. Our tool needs the connection in order to give you the best optimization recommendations and keywords that are relevant to your app. 🚀 Once you connect your Play Console or App Store Connect account, you'll be able to: - Check your optimization score - Work on your localizations - Have an overview of your app version and updates - Access the app metrics - Update your metadata in one interface - Publish your app version straight to the app stores Keep Optimizing! :D
Ritish Raghavan
Why did you decide to go free?
Thomas Kriebernegg
@ritish_raghavan great question! being a multi-time founder myself. I know the struggles of trying to grow and not having enough resources, especially time and money. Our team all agreed that we needed something to support indie and student developers who may be creating some awesome apps but don't have that time or money to scale it. That's why we decided to launch a free version of our industry leading ASO tool, to take the stress of manual ASO off startup developers so they can focus on growing bigger and better
Ritish Raghavan
@kriebernegg That's such a great thought I wish I had this while I was studying! Nevertheless I'm still gonna use it! Great product 👍🏼
