It's hard to get people interested in a product before it launches. How can one build momentum and generate buzz around an upcoming launch? Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Building in public can help a lot! Set up a community where people can provide feedback and support after your product has launched on PH for things such as reviews, product insights, and future suggestions. Always happy to chat 1:1 to give more insight into our strategy for this: https://space.new/w/2k5rz9o

Well, for the very first thing: Focus on the product to make sure "It hooked" After that is just a matter of consistent exposure where your ICP spend their focus. In my case, Linkedin and Twitter are our primary focus! But remember, good things take time! If you want to do something involving the community. Go for long-lasting value/effect to keep your members coming back for more!

Make sure to know in depth the identity of your product, and that every single action/communication ahead of launch is coherent with that product. This way you'll be sure whoever gathered in your community are already the right audience :-)

Get a landing page. Make people part of a very inclusive market research method. Become part of other nice communities , so that you can understand what makes a good community.

I know there are a variety of ways to accomplish this but one I've seen be quite effective is around course creation in a specific niche. As an example Airtable is a no code tool that I could create a course for and develop a following around. Those who would be interested in learning Airtable would also be interested in a product that Im building in the space that compliments their Airtable use. In this way the two can drive each other.

I think it really depends on your product and customer base. If you're selling to seniors, then you probably want to build a facebook page. If you're selling to the younger generation, a discord server might be better. I usually leave comments with value across various social media and link my community when relevant in the same comment.

Build relationships with the type of people who will be your customers. Don't be that person to only show up when you have some kind of a launch.
