Couple of ways to do this.
1. Make members feel that the community is so personalized to their own needs that they can't imagine using another one
2. Let members give feedback and build the community WITH you instead if you building it for them.
3. Points or some way to see progress. You could also have users exchange points for valuables like lead magnets, discounts, etc
Hope this helps a little bit

Listening to them when they talk and making their opinions feel heard can be a great way to do that. Open to see what others will suggest.
Empower community members by giving them clear roles, recognizing their contributions, and providing them with the tools and autonomy to make decisions. Encourage open communication and trust to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility.
Encouraging active participation and giving clear roles can really help community members feel invested and take ownership. Open communication is key!
Totally agree! Giving community members a voice is key. Some ideas: 1) Have them vote on features/changes 2) Let trusted members moderate 3) Spotlight member contributions 4) Create member advisory board for feedback. The more they feel heard, the more they'll invest in the community's success!
Definitely involve your community in key decisions! Give them a voice through surveys, polls, forums etc. And highlight top ideas/contributions - ppl love being recognized. Empowering members is the best way to build a thriving, engaged community that takes real ownership.
Recognition and involvement.
I think Providing opportunities for leadership and recognizing contributions publicly can motivate members to take more responsibility
I believe that clear conversations and involving members in the planning process helps them feel more accountable
