https://skilledup.life - free talent for tech startups started in the middle of Covid 19 pandemic. I blogged about the start https://www.skilledup.life/backg... Essentially, I lived with the problem since 2004. How do you build a team to take your vision for a tech startup forward if you do not have sufficient capital to hire a team? Not every tech startup is investible. In fact, less than 1% of tech companies get funded. If you do not have capital, your chances of success are low. I finally managed to solve this and I am thankful to the break the pandemic offered.

Getting feedback from my own products. I created MagicApps.ai to build several products. So a couple of weeks after a user subscribes to one of my products I ask if he/she might want to give my other products a try as well. Many times they ask me for something I don't have. Then I analyze if it's worth building if the market is big enough, competition, etc. That's how AllCopy.ai came to life, actually. https://www.allcopy.ai/

When COVID happened, my wife started a YouTube channel since she could no longer work as a tour guide. I saw her struggling to get the hang of talking to the camera and spending whole nights editing out all the "bloopers". I just wanted to build something to help her out.

Coming up with the idea for a SaaS product or service can be a complex and multifaceted process. It involves a combination of identifying a problem or need in the market, researching potential solutions and competitors, brainstorming and idea generation sessions, validating the idea through customer feedback and market analysis, developing a business plan and prototype, securing funding or investment for product development and launch, and continuously iterating and improving the product based on customer feedback and market trends. The following bullet points will provide a more detailed overview of this process: - Identifying a problem or need in the market. - Researching potential solutions and competitors - Brainstorming and idea generation sessions with a team or individuals - Validating the idea through customer feedback and market analysis - Developing a business plan and prototype - Securing funding or investment for product development and launch - Continuously iterating and improving the product based on customer feedback and market trends.

While I was in college studying computer science, I realized that I wanted to do more than just studying. I met @moritz_gruber1 , who shared my entrepreneurial spirit, and together we started a digital agency. We worked on various projects for clients but found that the headless content management systems on the market didn't fully meet our needs. So, we decided to create our own solution. We wanted to build a headless CMS that was more flexible and user-friendly for agencies and companies. We named it caisy.io and today it is used by over 2500 projects. We're now planning to take it open source and make it available to the community.

It was easy. At my old developer job, more than 20 years ago, I was tasked to create a similar admin control panel for many of customers' websites. At some point, I was tired of writing the same code over and over again and wrote a tool that simplified the job for me and a few years later I released it as a product (PHPRunner), which is my only source of income to this day.

We pivoted from the data of our previous idea.

for us it was using our competitor's bad habits into our good ones and it made our prospects make sense as they too agree our competitor had it's bad habits😁

Hello, I came up with the idea for the service I am offering while learning Turkish as a student. I needed tools to make the learning process easier but I couldn't find what I wanted so I decided to create it.

We managed comments on our client's behalf (fully managed service) and one of our top brands said it would be so helpful to have a platform to see all comments in one place. So we took that to the next level :D https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I was actually researching different ideas in AI and productivity, but since I am ADHD switching between different browser windows and tabs was really annoying, and I kept losing track of my work or getting distracted. Then I thought to myself, why are browsers so crap, and what is the likelihood of others feeling the same way 🤔 Bought the domain ihatemybrowser.com and started testing different browser ideas, and here we are, SigmaOS a browser designed to make you fast and focused while working on the web :)

When I was building my first-ever startup, an Edtech platform. I was wondering which blogging platform or tool to use that would not take much time to set up and is easy to manage. There were quite a few options out there like Medium, WordPress, Ghost, etc. However, I never found anything complete based on my expectations. Reasons -------- Medium: Medium is less customizable and does not help much with branding needs. The features are limited too. WordPress: The huge one that can help you build anything you want. However, if you consider using it just for blogging then it would be too much of a work to optimize it. Ghost: So far the best one I have found. They have cool features to offer. The only drawback I have found is you cant host it on a subdirectory without their top plan + $100/m for the subdirectory hosting. I felt none of the solutions are complete and hassle free for founders like us. Thats when I have started building BlogHunch from scratch with @ritu_soni It got launched today, please feel free to check it out. https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I’m always interested in new technologies where we can make a big leap. Typical products I come up with are Saas to bring other developers. Tools bring innovation effectively grow into intersections with other fields.

My co-founder and I were spending most of our time at our last jobs building, updating, and sharing spreadsheets. A lot of the time we were making spreadsheets for others who didn't know how and spending a ton of time teaching them how to use what we built. Eventually we realized that we could invent a new type of tool / spreadsheet that save people like us a ton of time and give non-technical people spreadsheet superpowers!

Initially I was a deep expert in the field of development and that was a reason of why I knew the pains of customers and what do they need.

I wanted to comment on a podcast - Tried going to 3 different communities of the podcast, but no one had a post by the creator on the episode I wanted to comment on -Tried Reddit community, but I had to clarify exactly what's the context to my comment. I felt it was overcomplicated, must be a better way to do that. -Designed 1st Podiz version, tested with users, failed. - Designed 2nd Podiz version, tested with users, failed. - Designed the 3rd Podiz version, tested it with users, and it worked great. Fantastic feedback and 90%+ success rate in all tasks, authentic enthusiasm. The idea wasn't found as much as it was sculpted from the problem. I'm sure we have a long way to go...
