  • For a SaaS, is a freemium plan a game changer or not?

    I am considering including a freemium plan in my offers. The main goal is to increase the number of users. What's your opinion on that?

    Nope freemium to a paid plan is a good model . You just gotta make sure your SaaS is sticky enough.

    @shreya_gupta02 it's not a ton of extra work if you plan for it from the beginning - but you do have to consider the cost of free users.

    Freemium is what almost all SaaS products implement. I feel it's the right strategy and can cover all types of users.

    I think freemium has become somewhat of a standard in SaaS and is a great way to increase your customer base, plus a well-balanced package helps you convert from a free to a paid account.

    In my experience freemium model rarely works especially if you are not ready to support your free users. In most B2C apps I worked with, there is a really small percent updates to paid tier. 30 day trial was much more profitable.
